A man in Gravesend died following a Brooklyn car accident Monday.
According to a report released by the New York CIty Police Department, Constantine Beyn was driving in a Toyota Camry shortly after 10:15 p.m. when his car jumped a curb and collided with a subway stanchion. The accident happened at the intersection of Shell Road and Bouck Court.
Beyn was transported to Luthern Medical Center after the crash, where he was later pronounced dead. Two 24 year-old women, who were riding with Beyn at the time, were also taken to Luthern Medical where they are listed in serious but stable condition. A third passenger, a 22 year-old man, was treated at Luthern and is expected to be released, police say.

A Brooklyn motorcyclist lost control of his bike Tuesday right before a brown Ford Explorer sports utility vehicle rounded a corner and struck him. When the driver lost control of his silver Honda CBR, the SUV swerved to avoid hitting the man, but it was too late. A Good Samaritan doctor who saw the motorcycle accident rushed over immediately to try to tend to the man and perform CPR.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. in Boerum Hill on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Bond Street. The driver of the SUV was not charged with anything. As soon as paramedics arrived, the motorcycle driver was rushed to Long Island College Hospital where he died a short time later.

An 18 year-old bicyclist was hit Wednesday morning when he was hit by a van running a red light. The cyclist was riding on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, approached an intersection, and was hit as the van driver disregarded his red light. The bicyclist was declared dead on the scene after being dragged half a block under the van.
The van driver, a 28 year-old male, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide for the deadly crash. He was also driving on a suspended license. An bus accident in Manhattan on Friday sent more than 20 people to the hospital.
The accident occurred around 11 am on Friday in Manhattan’s Upper East Side when a passenger car and a school bus collided. A fire department spokesperson said that although the people were taken to the hospital, none of the injuries were life-threatening.
